Good for it being transportable not for holding a fresh hit in place
Once you realize you shouldn't have a "fresh one" ready to go and adapt from there you'll be solid. I put some bud in there thinking it would stay in place and it was all over the place when I pulled the pipe out of the sleeve afterwards. Once you smoke a little though, it does usually hold in place better so you can re-insert the pipe in the sleeve at that point.
