My new everyday piece!
Bought this to replace a standard 12" straight pipe with a perc that was too much trouble to maintain. I'm really enjoying this piece, it is a bit quirky, but I think it's worth it.
Things I love: Good hit, the small bowl is perfect for a single rip, and its a smooth pull with no splashback. I haven't tried the larger bowl and pass arounds, but i'm sure it would hold up with multiple hits in a row.
It is easy to clean, which is great, but it really does need to be cleaned every time you use it. More on that below. The silicon cleaning caps are awesome, and so genius. The compact and subtle design make it blend in when not in use, and when you do see it, it's not an eyesore.
The bowl pull is awesome. I was originally worried about how small the bowl was, but now I love it, and it's much easier to clean than other 14mm bowls i've used. Will def be buying more bowls to cycle throughout the week and clean in batches at the end of the week.
What i don't love; it really does get dirty with just a couple hits. I've tried a few different water levels, and it's just how it goes with a smaller piece. I'm also inclined to want a cleaner piece than most. I put this here because it may not be obvious, or not everyone is willing to take the time to clean their piece as often as this would require.
While the cleaning system is great, it's not quite perfect. The downstem being inside the silicon sleeve is great, except that when you remove it to wash, you're dragging the resin covered…

EZ to clean!
easy to clean with no hard to reach spots. looks like a work of art. loved the small bowl not so much the larger one but only because i do small hits. the gooves in the stem could have been 5mm lower and would have liked the smoke coming through more than a half inch of water but by no means was this a dealbreaker. bong is more slightly more form than function but overall a good piece.
