Better to Have and Not Need…
I like to have a backup on hand in case something breaks. That way, I’m not waiting 3-5 days for a replacement to arrive.
Well, I’ve not had a chance to use my replacement(s) because the original bowl is still going strong thanks to the build quality you get from Sessions.
It appears Sessions has made a slight update/upgrade to these bowls. On the older style where the basin meets the pin (bottom of the bowl meets the air hole) its all one smooth straight shot for bits of flower slide down the downstem and into the water…and no one likes “floaters” in their bong water! For that reason I run a screen in the bowl. However, I just saw the replacements I ordered have a small raised lip where the basin meets the pin…presumably acting like a guard rail for the flower, keeping some bits out.
It works, it’s durable, and it looks great!

Accidents Will Happen
I try to have spare parts in reserve so when there’s a mishap, my piece isn’t sidelined for 3-5 days while I wait for a replacement to arrive. With Sessions’ attention to detail and only using the highest quality materials, my backup downstems just sit and collect dust. Better to have and not need them, rather than need and not have. Keep it up the great work Sessions!
