It's 420, and we'd rather be waking up with the sun on our face in the indoor-outdoor living space that is Venice House. Designed by Sebastian Mariscal.

Fall’s been tapping on the door like a neighbor who shows up uninvited but somehow always brings good snacks. The air’s still warm, but you can feel that little shift creeping in, the one that makes you start craving hoodies and thinking about soup again. The Summer I Turned Pretty wrapped its finale (and then immediately announced a movie, because apparently none of us are allowed to recover emotionally first). Locals’ summer is waving goodbye, the beaches are a little emptier, and the days feel just a touch shorter. It’s that in-between space where you’re still holding onto lazy afternoons, but you can sense the seasons shifting under your feet.
There’s something kind of nice about that, like nature giving you a reminder to slow down, to rest, to take stock. Maybe that means staying in bed a little longer without guilt, maybe it’s blasting music until you forget what day it is, maybe it’s nothing at all. Doing nothing is an art form, one we’re still learning.
This week’s daydreams drift from a digital photo booth that might be the cutest thing we’ve ever seen, to DJs spinning ambient records in a wildflower field, to Lego careers that sound more fun than your average 9–5, and Sabrina Carpenter soundtracking it all.
The Cutest Digital Photo Booth

I've been fully obsessed with My Sketch Booth. A free, vintage-styled photo booth created by V (@visarchivess) you can use right in your browser at home or on the go! No cameras, no weird angles, just you, your screen, and whatever mood you’re in. It feels like stepping into a retro photo booth without leaving your couch. Grainy textures, quirky frames, and playful prompts that let your personality shine (or hide, if today’s not selfie day). It’s simple, fun, and spontaneous, an easy way to make something visual without overthinking it.
A DJ Set In A Flower Field? Absolutely, Yes.

Ever Thought About Legos As A Career?

Being a Lego Master Builder is the kind of career path that messes with your priorities in the best way. Watching people who get paid to build wild, structural sculptures out of toy bricks makes you wonder which parts of your own adult job are holding you back. It’s weirdly inspiring...and also humbling, to see that creativity gets you real work, and not just in pinkies-in-the-air art gallery ways, but in the messy, precise, chaotic joy of building something physical.
